Dr Tracy Kolbe-Alexander

Dr Kolbe-Alexander is a Senior Lecturer in Sport and Exercise at the University of Southern Queensland in Australia.
The focus of Tracy's research is the role of physical activity in the prevention and treatment of non-communicable diseases. Her research includes designing, implementing and evaluating innovative physical activity interventions in various settings, including workplaces, schools and communities. Her research has been translated into practice in civil society, the private sector and in government (South Africa).
She is integrally involved in physical activity advocacy initiatives, including serving on the board for the International Society of Physical Activity and Public Health and is the Chair of the Education Committee.
